ICNC Offers Tuition-Free EMT Training

The Industrial Council of Nearwest Chicago (ICNC) is partnering for a third year with the  Eleanor Foundation to offer tuition-free Emergency Medical Technician training to single Chicago women.

Students will receive instruction in all areas of EMT service, from first response in medical emergencies to mitigating disaster events.

The EMT Training Program entails eight months of intense, weekly classes at ICNC's facility at 320 N. Damen Ave on Chicago's West Side. This course is presented free of tuition of costs with a marginal fee for books and materials.

Qualified applicants will be unmarried women earning between 10,000 and 40,000 per year, with clean criminal and driving histories. Online applications and course syllabus are available at
